TAVARES, FL - Alan Hays, Lake County’s Supervisor of Elections, announced today the launch of a new website for the elections office at

“I’m excited to provide residents this modern, user-friendly website that offers valuable information regarding the voting process in Lake County,” said Hays.

The website features mobile-responsive capabilities, making it easily navigated on both desktop computers and mobile devices. Users will find information on how to vote – including a precinct finder – election data, candidate resources, a listing of current elected officials, information about the Supervisor of Elections’ roles and responsibilities, and how to get involved in the elections process.

“We wanted to develop this website with voters in mind,” added Hays. “The voting process can sometimes be confusing, so it was important to me that the site allow people to quickly and easily find information they need. We also worked hard on ensuring the website included information and resources for those looking to run for public office.”

A calendar displays upcoming events, such as deadlines for registering to vote and early voting dates, as well as the “stay informed” feature which allows voters and candidates to sign up for email announcement reminders.

The website was developed in-house as a partnership between the staff of the Supervisor of Elections Office and the Lake County Board of County Commissioners’ Communications Department.
