Public Meetings Scheduled for Upcoming Municipal Elections

Tavares, FL- Alan Hays, Lake County Supervisor of Elections,  announced the following public meeting schedule for the upcoming municipal elections:

October 30, 2017:

The organizational meeting of the Canvassing Boards for the municipal elections slated for Clermont, Groveland, Mascotte, Minneola, and Mount Dora will begin at 8:30 AM at the Lake County Supervisor of Elections Support Center located at 703 South Rossiter Street in Mount Dora. 

The Public Logic & Accuracy (L&A) test of the voting tabulation equipment will begin at 9:00 AM or shortly after the conclusion of the Canvassing Board Organizational Meeting.  The L&A test will conclude within the County Administration Building at 315 W. Main Street, Suite 144 in Tavares.

The canvassing of the vote-by-mail ballots will begin at 1:00 PM at the County Administration Building at 315 W. Main Street, Suite 144 in Tavares.
